Anna and Mike got married in their parents backyard in Rockford. The ceremony was performed by the grandfather and it was short and sweet. Everyone was gathered in the backyard on the deck and it was very personal. The party was later brought to the Radisson Hotel where there was delicious food, fun dancing, and good times had by all.

They decided they wanted to go downtown Rockford, IL. They were a very fun couple and the weather was perfect. It was very overcast which made for great light and the clouds in the sky were pretty wicked towards the end of the shoot.

Brandon and Stephanie's wedding was great! The couple were happy on their big day and it looked like all of their guests were enjoying themselves as well. I was honored that the parents invited me to sit at their table for dinner, I felt like a guest the whole time. From these pictures you can tell that everyone had a great time.

Well this was a fun time. Alma and Derek were an outgoing couple that were willing to experiment with my crazy ideas. These photos turned out very natural and that's exactly what we wanted. We have been waiting for the perfect day to shoot and I think we got lucky with this day - fresh snow fall and not too cold.

Photographing the Fringe Salon Christmas Party was a fun time. I was invited because my wife works there as a receptionist. This year they had a customer appreciation Christmas Party. They had all sorts of food, raffles, drinks, music, etc. and the procedes all went to a good cause. It was to raise awareness and funds for Gigi's Playhouse, a learning center for children with down syndrome.

Ava Emmaline Sarandi was born on Friday, August 27th, 2010. She is the daughter of proud parents Valentin and Olga. She is a beautiful kid, I’m not gonna lie. I had suggested to the parents that they should give her the middle name “tar” but they decided to ultimately go with Emmaline. Which is OK too.
